Oskar Eli

Not even for them

I had been in the city bar with my bestie Veronica. It had started well, with us laughing though the laud music. Me getting some drinks by a strange guy, Vero got crazy jealous and stole the drink from me, and drank it. She knows she can do these kind of things to me, I am too nice, I don’t mind. That guy who gave the drink to me, telling me I was beautiful in my bright red sweater, was so drunk he soon was missing. I imagined he would stay a little longer, so I could get more drinks, and pretend I was interested. While Vero would give me those sneaky glares, she knew I was tricking him.

4. The book of Peter Pan

There was a house in Luleå, it was small, red. Pretty straight forward, nothing special with this house. Nor was the people inside. The only reason the snowflakes even bothered to go there was because they had heard a few rumours. The winged children used to be there, and the snowlakes wanted to see if it was true.

The children had been flying for a little while. Dancing in the air, laughing like children do. They had landed a bit away from most of the city buildings. But it wasn't that big, it was Boden. They hadn't seen much of it though, their lost souls were doomed to live in the shadows. Always on the run, for the newly infected blond-haird boy it was unusual. But still very bearable, with his beloved pal around. It was just like a game.

13. Konflikten

Spurte Arne. Trond fnyste:
"Vet vel ikke jeg."
"Ikke?" Arne la fra seg glassrørene forsiktig. "Du jobber jo på sykehuset."

Arne shock a bit on the containers the girl’s blood was in. A bit thicker than an average pen maybe. Trond gave him the signal to stop with that. He was tired in his head, wanted piece. Soon they were probably to let her free or something, he hoped. She was most definitely not to ley there and cry for the rest of her life.
“So, How does this work then?” Arne asked. Trond snorted:
“I don’t know.”
“You do not?” Arne ley the glass pipes down carefully and continued:
“But you work at the hospital.”

12 Frykt

"Eli!?" Han listet seg til den store kofferten. Åpnet den fort mens han sa:
"Tok deg!" Men ingen var der.

12 Fear

When Oskar awaked he noticed that the blankets weren’t over them like they were when he fell asleep. He turned around to see if Eli was awake, something he probably was. He sat up fast when he saw that Eli wasn’t there. Oskar started smiling.
“Where can Eli be now?” He yelled. Not a sound, he stood up, looked around himself in the cabin.
“Eli?” He tiptoed to the big trunk, opened it fast while he said:
“Got ya!” But nobody was there.

The poolhouse

Day 1
Eli broke the window, and little pieces of glass floated in the air like stars. His wings got bigger, his ears burned and smoke came out. He saw red. A teenage boy held Oskar underneath the pool surface, and a simelar looking kid stood beside him. Eli knew that was Jonny by the band aid on his ear.

Blood filled the room and the boy's heads were soon thrown in the pool. But where was Oskar? Eli looked down into the pool, terror. Oskar's body, all light blue floated in the water. Was he dead? Eli felt like crying, and soon picked him up. Oskar was limp with eyes closed.

On Danskebåten (The dannish boat) it went to Danmark of course. Helena worked as a maid. She cleaned the rooms and lived in Københaven, the capital of Danmark. Most norwegians were happy to live there, and so was she. And every other day she would take the boat from Danmark to Norway, and back again by the next few days, and when evening came she went to bed in her nice apartment at home or in a hotel in Oslo. It was boring, but she was used to it.

11. Our lives

Oskar and Eli had run straight into the lake, washed off and crawled into their carriage again. They had turned on the lamp, placed it on the floor and taken a closer look around. The walls were gray, of the mold and fungus. But Eli said it wasn’t dangerous. So Oskar accepted it but didn’t like it too well. It wasn’t that pretty.

Then they had gone in one of the carry bags and found the two identical sets pajamas. And took them on, just to try it out. They were white with small black dots. Now they really looked like normal children.
